FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can We Bring A Cooler and Lawn Chair?
Coolers, no. Lawn chairs...if you think you need one, yes. We do not allow food or drink from outside of the festival to be brought in. Vendors will have food and drinks, including water, available at VERY, INCREDIBLY, UNBELIEVABLY, reasonable prices. Similar to what you would find at their restaurants or at grocery stores. MEALS CAN BE PURCHAED FOR $5. There is a large picnic table area, so most people see no need to bring lawn chairs. You are allowed to bring chairs and umbrellas, so long as they do not pose a hazard to others.

What order are the bands playing?
This is the MOST FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION! Unlike other festivals, Amp Fest does NOT release the order and schedule of the bands playing until the day of the festival. We encourage you to come early, so you do not miss your favorite band! The idea is to show equal support for all bands at in all time slots! Bands do not know what time they are playing....so asking will not help!

What local accommodations are available...and is there anything else to do while we're in Rock Falls, IL??
Local accommodations as well as area attractions can be found in our LOCAL section. There's lots to do, so stick around for the whole weekend!

Can I drop my child off at Amp Fest & know they are safe?
YES, but Amp Fest cannot and will not be held responsible for supervising your child. We provide a safe environment free of alcohol & aggressive behavior. There are plenty of security guards to ensure that the event is safe & well monitored. We reserve the right to ask anyone to leave the event if they are posing a threat to anyone else's safety, although in the 4 years of Amp Fest this has never happened. Amp Fest is an all ages event and we suggest that you consider the age and maturity of your child before leaving him for the day. All attendees have the ability to leave the event and return to the event as they please. If you have any other questions or concerns, please e-mail bob@amp-fest.org no later than August 6th, 2008.

When is the latest I can get tickets for advance pricing? August 8th @ noon.
What about rain? In case of rain, we have a Rain Location, which will be announced and signage will be highly visible all over Rock Falls, to help you fin the new location.
Are tickets refundable? In the case that some natural disaster of the hugest magnitude were to happen and Amp Fest would have to be cancelled, your 2008 ticket could be exchanged for a 2009 ticket. In all other cases, tickets are non-refundable.
