August 10, 2008 - Amp Fest Wrap Up
Amp Fest 2008 was a great sucess!! Over 1,000 people came out to ROCK along the Rock Falls, IL Riverfront and 23 bands played their hearts out to the attendees. Vendors provided Guiatr Hero Tourney, Rock & Roll Face Paint & hair Styles, and food was as plentiful and the fun! We are looking forward to Amp Fest 2009 and welcome your input on bands and format! Expect some changes. We're headed a new dirrection and will be changing the event over all....and maybe even the name!

Amp Fest planning is coming along very well! We're super excited to announce that we'll be adding 2 more bands in the next few days. Keep checking back for more info. May, 2008 - PROJECT 86 - Announced as Amp Fest co-headliner.
We're happy to announce our new co-headliner, Project 86. A long time local favorite! EVEN MORE BANDS JUST ANNOUNCED - visit the bands link for more infoay, 2008 - EMERY Announced as Amp Fest headliner.
We are proud to announce this year's headliner will be Emery. The band recently released "I Am Only A Man" with several hit songs and is currently on tour with The Almost. More Amp Fest bands announced SOON!
May, 2008 - Main Stage Bands are being released!
We have been working hard at booking this year's stellar line up. Here's who's on board as of today: Spoken, Eleventyseven, With Blood Comes Cleansing, The Switch, Children 18:3. Other Amp Fest Bands: The Last Hope, Willet, Me in Motion & more! More are nearly finished with the booking process and will be released SOON. Check back soon.

Amp Fest Battle of the Bands
Want to play with bands from RCA, Atlantic, Facedown, Tooth & Nail, Victory, Solid State Records? Do you know a band that should be sharing a stage with big bands!? Apply now for the Amp Fest 2008 Battle of the Bands. The battle is designed to give local bands the opportunity to play on a big stage in front of thousands. Battles shows are scheduled May-July with. Two bands are taken from each qualifying show to play in the final battle. The top 3 bands from the final battle play at Amp Fest!
