"Amp Fest is soooo amazing. I have so many memories from the past two festivals, like having the opportunity to share the stage with bands [photography wise], have water bottle wars, getting soaked by the dunk tank, having food fight, and most of all, getting inspired by all the bands that play from getting the chance to have decent conversations with them. It's like a mini Cornerstone, except i feel more welcome and i feel like i can get to know more people. I hope that each year it gets better and better and only continues to grow. I wish to thank you, Beth and Delon, for giving me the chance to take photos from on stage and for everything you have done for me in the line of Amped Shows. I wish to thank all the bands that have played for being very kind. Finally, I wish to thank Flatfoot 56 for singing happy birthday on stage for me last year, along with James, Mariah, Andrew, Jenny, Brianne, my mom, and whoever else was involved in it. It really made my sweet 16 special. "

I made a PROMO vid for this year's Amp Fest - SWEET bands? - YES!
 

I had never been to a music festival before until I went to Amp Fest 2006. Originally, I only went to see my favorite band, Eleventyseven there, but I ended up liking all of the bands at Amp Fest. A chunk of my CD collection is even from there. From then on, I fell in love with Amped Productions. 
I thank Bethany and Delon for putting on such great concerts. The 2 hour drive for my mom to take my brother, my friend, and me there, was well worth it. When we got there, I remember there being confusion at the gate. Then, when I finally got in, I was full of anticipation and excitement. 
I never took so many pictures before. I went camera crazy. The atmosphere is wonderful. I was able to rock out to awesome bands and then chat with them afterwards. I would have conversations with bands from talking about their life on tour, to dancing with Jonathan from Eleventyseven, to using 
veggie oil to power vehicles with The Fold. If I had to list my top favorite concerts ever, Amp Fest would be at the very top.

Oh and here's what Eleventyseven had to say about Amp Fest 2006:
"ampfest was totally rad, and thanks to all of you who brought unicorns and hershey kisses to that show ( you know who you are).
also, i guess it's no secret that the porta-johns outside had a leak or something, cause noxious fumes we arrive in waves at the merch tables, 
killing everything in their path.  we lost a lot of good rockers that day to the fumes. a lot of good rockers............."

Eleventyseven will be there for Amp Fest 2007 too, so Amp Fest must be awesome if they're willing to come back again. =]

"My friend Karen and I went to Ampfest..and we were late so we missed some bands...but we still had a really fun time! We talked with Dwain from Kingsdown a lot and also the guy from 11ty7...and I bought 2 shirts so that was cool.

So i finally got my amp fest 2005 pics up. There's some of the bands, falling up's tour van, a bad mosh pit/circle pit, and the shirt that I made for that concert. The back of the shirt was hard to get a pic of cuz I hang them up as curtains and I couldn't really get the back that well.


Also, amp fest 2006 pics are up, but you have to go to each individual folder in my photobucket. I'm pretty sure u already have all those, but if u don't feel free to use them. There's also my amp fest 2006 shirt in the amp fest 2006 folder.


And the only crazy band story I have from amp fest last year was that when me and my friend were leaving the lead singer from Eleventyseven came up behind us and kinda jumped on us. We turned around and realized it was him, but we were wondering what he was doing. He's like "well i saw you guys were leaving and I just wanted to give you guys a hug and tell you bye". Although we were freaked out he had to jump on us to tell us goodbye, we still gave him a hug and told him bye.
